the plan for this blog is to share our three month journey across the top end of OZ later this year, with our family and friends, most of whom live far away from us. However, it will not only be a recording of our travels, it is also a place where I will record some words and pictures of things that make me happy...just day to day "stuff" that may or may not appeal to you but does make me smile...enjoy...

Katherine finds....

Katherine has been good to me. Not only have I been able to sit by a pool and relax I have found my most sought after vintage appliance and today I rummaged through op shops and came away with two fowlers preserving jars and a half pint cream bottle.....only small change but gosh it has made the dust and driving worth it!

PS oh yeah, the kids and ac went swimming in some natural hot springs but that wasn't nearly as exciting as what I got!

    Hi Cambridges,
    Looks like a fantasic trip. I'm sure you are now hitting the "hot" country and enjoying the perfect dry season in the north. Have fun in WA and can't wait to see you all in Darwin. There are some great water parks to go to, plenty of cold beer for Andrew and I'm sure Zoe will find time to get to the coffee shops.
